Texas track day in december

Eagle canyon outside of dallas has a charity track day on december 8th. Cost is only $50 per driver, a new unwrapped toy, and 2 non perishable foods.

This is looking like a good opportunity for an atom gathering, with several area owners planning to attend.  Does anyone know of other local events (a la cars and coffee) this weekend that could be incorporated?  Perhaps a saturday night cruise?
