Bruce is coming to California!
Hey guys!
I'm coming to California for a couple of weeks from September 21st to October 6th. Ostensibly this is to do a car trip.
As some of you may know, I am involved with these guys:
http://www.petrolheadnirvana.com/driving-tours/the-american-dream/american-itinerary/
One of our punters has dropped out and and all expenses paid trip seemed too good to miss.
I'll be doing either one trip or two, but would love to meet up with you whilst I'm out there.
Do please get in touch - by pm or mail to bruce at hotmail dot co dot uk and let's catch up

Bruce, are you planning a coastal run up the PCH, to San Fran and maybe a little further north to the Redwoods?

The beauty of this holiday is that I don't have to plan anything!

Re: Bruce is coming to California!
I'll put up our itinerary on this thread when I know what it is, then whoever wants to can come and join us.
It would be really great to see some old faces again, and welcome some new ones. I promise not to drink any bar dry without you... (see Atomfest 1 for details of UK drinking habits)
My mobile number in the UK is +44 7710078033
I'll probably be grabbing a US sim and will let you guys know the number as soon as I have it.
Getting excited!

I have a leftover phone from my Atomacrossamerica trips, which has 5000 minutes on it that need to be used up before my annual plan changes at the end of July. Just the SIM from my phone will let you use your phone, as long as it isn't SIM-locked and carries all 4 frequency bands. Otherwise you'd need my spare phone (RAZR v3) and
charger.
The actual usage charges are $1/day on any day that you make or answer any calls. Calls are billed at 10c per minute (or fraction thereof). and sent / received text messages are 20c to 25c , dpending on what country they're coming from / going to.

By the way...
If anyone wants anything relatively small brought out from the UK, please let me know and if it gets to me in the Uk in time, I'll bring it with.

Re: Bruce is coming to California!
So you'll be in Los Angeles on a Monday? As much as I'd like to intercept the funparty at the Hard Rock, I don't think I'll be able to get away from work to do so.
Re: Bruce is coming to California!
Saturday the 29th I should be around. Weather depending I could blast with y'all from SFO area to Santa Cruz. Can I pick the route???
