One thing I learned racing small production cars is "Smooth equals fast".
Don't see saw the wheel.
Also, use the opposite hand for the turn. left turn- use your Right hand to feed input.
Right turn, left hand to feed input. You will have more controll.
Try it on the street for practice. And remember,,,"smooth"!

Yeah... my last car was a 3700lb near 600hp Mustang Cobra. It's a totally different feeling going from that Cobra to the Atom. I've looked at a little video from this past weekend at Sandia... I'm not giving the wheel as much input. But I will say, that since the Atom is so short, and with lots of torque in the LSJ engine... it's VERY easy to get the rear to come out. Keeping the rear wheels under control in a corner takes a lot of steering input sometimes.
