I have a client in Long Beach and have been threatening to come over - thought I might try and combine with this event next year - sounds fun.
Atom 4, Mclaren 720s, Audi Rs4, VW ID3.....

You'd be more than welcome and I'm sure you'd get a seat in an Atom for the GP day no problem.
If I can be of any help in organizing some fun stuff just PM me.

An action packed weekend  ;D
Starting Thursday, I attended the RRDC dinner celebrating Parnelli Jones. I met all sorts of racing folks and big names but some of the more interesting stuff was behind the scenes info. I was seated next to Martin Brundles brother who is with Lola and is out to get the contract with IRL to build next years cars. Some fun insight from him on all sorts of stuff but particularly interesting was the technical ideas they have for next years cars.

Then, off to the GP on Saturday and met up with Fiesty and the Hamster (I now know why he is called the Hamster because he sleeps like one). We rolled into the GP lot with two Atoms and got security to escort us into a prime spot. The ALMS race was great from turn 1 and we were on the edge of our seats most of the time. Some spirited driving home down Pacific Coast Highway finished off an action packed day.

Sunday saw five Atoms. Fiesty, Nick, Andy, Chris and me. It was perfect weather. The main race was a bit of a sled ride but still it's fantastic to feel the vibration and the scream of the cars passing by at silly speeds. Great to hook up with the group and it cool to enter into the the race area with a group of Atom nuts.

WCA is next!  ;D

hey cut me some slack would you  ;). I was really tired the night before, because i was putting the atom back together till 2 in the morning. :td: Along with being tired from thrusday's track day. And so what if i took like a 20 minute nap while 8 year old indy light cars were qualifying  :-\. Plus Hammy's tummy was full of CPK
But, the past 4 day were pretty much full of a lot of fun and laughs with some of the greatest people in the world  :tu: ;D
Now Calscot you have set the standard for the LBGP, now you have to get us a few install laps in the atoms next year >:D. hopefully I shouldn't fall asleep for that
