Harrop install requires air temperature sensor modification
Re: Harrop install requires air temperature sensor modification
I worry that you guys are gonna overflow the MAF and need to build a bigger MAF diameter tube. Not sure how you guys are getting a pre-tuned setup, unless the tuner has access to our MAF housing. Tuning on MAF based cars is all about the maf housing.. if you don't have the exact one, its not gonna work.

Silver,
The K&N cone air filter on my side, straight shot air intake from Unique Fab./Tom S. is a RF-1030.

Trifecta has done tunes on Ecotec Atoms, and I believe it was with the stock 3" MAF tubing. The stock tubing should support 300whp..but I doubt much more. That's all I'll be looking for out of my stock engine.
Re: Harrop install requires air temperature sensor modification
I had an aftermarket intake system on my Corvette that used a flat foam filter instead of a K&N. It was sprayed with a very sticky oil for motorcycle filters. I don't know what CFM they are rated for, but the car made 425HP. I'll have to see if I still have one in my garage.
