water temp sensor (engine) part no.

i believe the water temp sensor is off a rover mgf, however which one. need one asap as im booked into tuning tomorrow and i broke mine taking the engine out.

any help would be much appreciated.

i did they want £70 plus vat plus delivery for it, and it wont get here till Wednesday, im going down euro car parts now to see if they can match it up.

Not sure what the part number is but I'm pretty sure its an MG/MGF one. It probably is the one listed above and as mentioned, They're only about a tenner so even if its not you can go through a few different ones trail and error before you reach £70!

The radiator fan is controlled by a different sensor so as long that's OK the only issue you'll have is an incorrect reading at your dash if its not the correct one. And if the readings wrong it'll be obvious, it wont be out by just a few degrees but more than likely will give you stupid readings like -150 degrees. I know, I've tried!
