Weather is not looking too promising.

Not sure top speed on the straights is going to be an issue sadly. :(

Its doubly gutting as the original date was glorious sunshine! >:(

Damn, frustrating about the weather. Has there been any guidance on sharing garages? I haven't booked one mainly because I've got a roof on my car ;D but I'd definitely like to have a nose around all of your shiny Atoms!

Hi Preseh,

I haven't seen anything banning sharing garages but there are rules on social distancing. As per my earlier post I am not clear how many garages we have to try to share, or how many car we will be allowed to have in a garage. I know a couple of you want to share with me and happy to do what we can to stay out of the rain. :tu:

But for the other Atom guys I would suggest grabbing a garage if you can (just give Silverstone a call 01327 320280). Its likely to be wet and getting out of the rain will be a huge benefit.

Shall we move to Friday, or any of the 10 days after that! :(

Here's a clip of one of my fastest (but scrappy) laps of the day in the Tesla - I was basically getting two or three laps before the battery overheated and I lost 10-20mph on the straights

Great to meet you all. I was very jealous of you guys when the track finally dried out.

Looking forward to seeing footage from the Atoms! ;D

First time around Silverstone. Took me a while to learn the layout, and was only just getting the gears right towards the end.

Select HD and the highest res you can....

Damp conditions with a drying racing line. Still learning the circuit.

Dry line but damp off the racing line. Still learning the circuit layout.

Fully dry now and getting the shift points sorted as the session progresses. Will be HD eventually when YT catches up!

Fully dry now and got most of the shift points sorted. Really enjoying it now

Still not pushing hard on the braking or cornering, but i'm still learning the car and I really enjoyed it. 8)

Great vids, can definitely see the confidence in the car and track growing throughout the sessions. Glad we got some dry running in the end although your commute back home in the rain couldn't have been much fun! ;D

Great video Nick. What an absolute bandit in that Alfa - it's not hard to follow the rules :o

Very interesting to see the speed difference between Pete's 4 and your car on the straights too.
