Is everyone still going to the track day next Wednesday? I know a lot can change in a week but it seems for now at least that Silverstone are going ahead with the day minus the option for tuition.

I'm considering coming up, is there a deadline to book in by?

Alex, are you still going and do you drive up or trailer? I believe you're just round the corner from me.

Gutted...
Dear track day customer
On Monday 23 March we issued a statement notifying that all our track days (along with all other types of MSV circuit activity) would cease operating until the end of April. We will keep that date under review over the coming weeks.
All bookings in this period will automatically receive a full 12-month MSVT credit for future use on our track days. The credits can be redeemed easily online or over the phone. We have a large volume of affected track days within this period but we are working our way through the events chronologically and issuing credits carefully. More dates will be released soon. The full details, including credit redemption, can be found here:
Bike information: https://www.msvtrackdays.com/bike/news/ ... cancelled/
Car information: https://www.msvtrackdays.com/car/news/2 ... cancelled/
We hope that this approach will provide total comfort and reassurance to our customers. However, should you need to contact us for any other reason you can email trackdays@msv.com. Please note there may be a delay of up to 48 hours before you receive a reply. Please do not telephone us for any non-urgent queries.
We thank you for your support and understanding and look forward to seeing you all again once it is safe to resume.
Best regards

Mark Rusted

Damn, that's a shame but I guess the writing was on the wall with everything else closing down. Typical as it looked like it was going to be a blinder with the weather :-\

I have refunds the length of my arm that are due that still haven't credited my account yet. Was supposed to go to Berlin for a half marathon so everything from flights to hotel to car hire etc etc.

I think most of the companies are dragging their feet giving money back. I've tried to be considerate and not clog up their lines but the patience doesn't seem to be paying off so might be left with no other option.

The email above says "will automatically receive a full 12-month MSVT credit for future use on our track days". I read that as you aren't getting your money back, you're getting a "credit" to use at a future track day.

If you want/need the money, then I'd suggest you need to call them.

Agreed Phil. But if one has disposed of ones car then a future credit is worthless. Just saying, as I'm not disposing of my car any time soon. I think they should acknowledge refunds in exceptional circumstances

The cost will go up in future for the Silverstone GP cct later in the year too.

If you paid on CC I am sure you could get it refunded easily.
