Maybe the 10hz receiver is placed at the wrong place and the receiver get too much wrong electrical signals from e.g. the engine.
I have the Hondata logging OBDII, it's wired in and mounted next to the GPS receiver. But I would think the interference is minimal since it is wired.
For the moment I use the android app Torque Pro and an ODB2 Adapter. It's interesting to read that logging with the Hondata is possible and you can export all the pids to a csv-file?

I have however had great success with racebox mini, 25Hz, gets GPS signal very quickly and seems 100x more reliable ..
I was looking at that as well. What I really need AIM with the logger or some sort of dash and logger combo, because I would love to log some custom sensors as well, like IAT and IAT2s to see how well the intercooler works.
The new Racebox mini who anx10us use it sounds interesting and the price too but it's BT.
If the interferences are the problem I want to buy from Qstarz the BL-1000GT receiver.

I know you have an US Atom with hondata. My UK-Atom with hondata too doesn't output many sensor datas. I'll have to take a closer look, maybe I can get more information from the hondata via the pid settings.

The racebox app is great but it’s just lap analysis, doesn’t collect any external data

Clearly you’d also have the challenge of working out the formulas for the correct ECU feeds.

I’d really like to be able to log throttle/brake ?/gears/coolant temps/oli temps etc.
I used an OBD logger with Dual GPS and Harry's before, it was a bit much at times with GoPro/OBD/GPS. But now I have to wire in the Hondata, I log it in case I have engine problems so I can send it to the tuner. The Hondata software is decent for visualizing the sensors as well. But yeah, you can't add that OBD data from Hondata in Harry's.

Torque was great too. I found some PIDs I could use for IAT and IAT2 to do a comparison on the Corvette. Hondata was supposed to be a temp solution for me but the AEM fried itself just trying to get the latest software and stuck with Hondata because it just works. I like a dumb engine that just works. I think all I have is basic compensation for air and coolant temp lol.

I can see at your last video that you use the Hondata Flash Pro. Here you can use "20 hours on board datalogging memory" and you can save with the software FlashProManager or KManager the datas on your PC/laptop.
Check the RaceChronoPro App maybe you can add the Hondata data here - but I don't know it.

Otherwise you use RaceRender 3 here you can insert a lot of formats like video, audio, GPS-data, engine data

PIDs from the Corvette or from the hondata ECU?

You make my day. :) :tu:

PIDs from the Corvette. A guy found the IAT2 PID on his supercharged Caddy and that was the same as the Corvette's.

An AIM datalogger like the MXP is reasonably expensive but not insanely expensive, and also expandable (sky's the limit on how fancy you want to get with sensors). Short of a Motec system, which is $$$$$, probably the best bang for the buck functionality-wise.

A "cheaper" but non-expandable Solo2 DL gets the basics done (IIRC coolant temp, IAT, TPS, rpm, and pre-calculated gear).
