I'll be taking two sets of wheels i think given the mixed bag. I noticed a lunch van on site but am I to assume there is no real indoor areas at all to hide from the weather?

I've got my mud and snow tyres ready... They have a big tent, not sure if you're allowed to shelter in that? I went to Tesco last time for lunch and more fuel.

There is also a small possibility that there might not be a catering van there. The previous one has retired and I know Natasha was struggling to find a replacement vendor (as of Monday anyway)

Assuming we're not held prisoner, MacD's is a stones throw away.  And if you wanted a sarny, same goes for the supermarket (even closer than MacD's) or the Shell petrol station the other way, has a small shop too.

Yep there's a reason I have the T5! It's epic at chilling in. I may have to install a coffee machine tomorrow...

It is looking like I may need to pull out due to work. Not sure if I can offer this slot to someone else on here but if so that'd be cool.

Every f*cking time this happens.

Sorry to hear that Reg. Have you tried to get hold of Pete? He was interested but it was fully booked.

Give Natasha at MSE a ring I would of thought that it shouldn't be a problem.
Maybe Peter is still looking for a slot.

I've called and left a message. Worst case work will have to refund me. A bit annoyed as this would have been the perfect day out.

Always worth showing up, Pete... Someone will stuff their car in the first five minutes or blow it up first time out or just not show up. TDOs will usually let you out if you schmooze...

Oh, and take cash...

Great day had. A bit greasy and wet to start, which wasn't helped by the MOD having chucked a sh1t load of mud all over the final corner and twisty section but it dried out nice and plenty of tyre screeching moments were had! Nice to see Phil, Russ, Andy and Kezzie of course.

Cheers chaps.

Really good day

Was good to put names to faces. Got some footage on the GoPro. Will post a link when I get round to uploading it

Cheers

Once it started to dry.... and grip returned... was great fun.

Nomad on track, also a hoot, and that's only from the passenger seat.  Cheers Russ!

Footage of it dried out from me here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_dbRRVHfgA&t=208s

Fantastic day, really nice to meet everyone!

My footage is here, GPS and OBD data missing as I'd forgotten to put the battery in the camera... :-(

Slightly moist....

Starting to dry out, think I had Alex onboard here!

I hope you all had fun :vroom: :checkeredflag:
Photos are all sorted and online here - https://www.ack-photography.co.uk/galleryView.php?gallery=83
Just enter 'Ariel' 'Atom' or 'Nomad' in the search and it'll save you having to trawl through the whole gallery.
