Abingdon - May 19th

If you race your Atom or use it hard on track, here's a place to discuss strategy and swap tips.

Starting to become quite a crowd!

Alex,
If you contact Natasha at Motorsports-Events, on behalf of the club, you could get everyone free tuition if you get enough attendees.
I'm not sure how many you need but it's worth a try.

Thanks Kezzie. They often have issues with tuition in Atoms though given the open cockpit. Have they done it there for you before?

Alex, they've done it for Crates and Westies so I'm sure they are well versed in suitable hand signals.

Always worth showing up, Pete... Someone will stuff their car in the first five minutes or blow it up first time out or just not show up. TDOs will usually let you out if you schmooze...

So how many of you lot are coming on Friday?

I'll be there in my official capacity as 'Photographer' so, hopefully, I'll capture all your good sides ;D

I'll be there, lets hope this rain stops as I finally managed to persuade Sarah to join me for a few laps!

At the moment the forecast is for dry morning with light showers starting around 3pm
Either way it'll probably be best if you bring shelter/large brolly/extra waterproofs/thermals/sick bags/divorce lawyer*
Please confine all slides & spins to corners at which I am aiming my camera. Advance notice would also be appreciated ;D

I'll be taking two sets of wheels i think given the mixed bag. I noticed a lunch van on site but am I to assume there is no real indoor areas at all to hide from the weather?

There is nowhere to hide from the weather unless you'd like to spend most of the day in the Portaloos ;D Maybe you could rent out space in the T5 :roflp:
There is also a small possibility that there might not be a catering van there. The previous one has retired and I know Natasha was struggling to find a replacement vendor (as of Monday anyway)
