What a brilliant event, well organised and very well executed. Great job Mark and the rest of the team behind a great opening weekend for the Atom Cup Series. It was really great to see the Atoms make an instant mark on both the paddock and the racetrack. Cadwell here we come!

The cars finished the weekend in pretty good shape.

Jonathan lost a corner of the car on friday when a Clio came out of nowhere on a bend and road over his wheel. The Ariel team stayed up late friday night to rebuild it so that he could continue the weekend racing 

Today there were a number of spins and sadly Paul Donkin's car had to retire from the 2nd race early when a stone punched a hole through the side of the radiator.

The Autocar journalist Matt Prior drove one of the rental cars, so hopefully we'll see a good report in the magazine shortly.

All cars had at least 2 GoPro HD cameras fitted and Henry was busy throughout the day dumping the footage to laptops for showing throughout the afternoon and forwarding to Motors TV to add to their TV coverage.

The quality was fantatstic and there should be some great videos coming ..

Some of us braved the weather and came in "The car".

Hats off again to Old Bill, who although he'd only been to Silverstone this Tuesday for a track day, turned up again today !

Welshman was there with his new blue-framed 3.5, Kezzie with his White mudguarded car and mine.
