Tom made a early announcement in the clubroom, but now the information is public, there is no reason why it cannot be discussed in the open part of the forum as well.

Brilliant stuff fellas  :tu: enjoyed watching that, you guys were very neat, tidy and fast!

Left foot braking, heel toe......just the sort of stuff I use around the carrefour car park here as I enter trolley chicane, flat out passed the disability straight before the hard right for the taxi park. epic!

Cheers Wattie

Hi TD,

I've posted on this topic before on the forum...so excuse the copy and paste below.
Cheers,
Barry.
-------------

Below is what I paid for the kit, net price...then you have to add the Vodka and Tonic.  Not cheap I know, but it is full blown race telemetry….so you can have hours of fun (as I do) viewing all your shortcomings...!

BTW, I fitted the 'installation' myself...very easy.
However, as the Atom is a little 'open to the elements'...you will need to put the actual Video VBOX unit into a waterproof box of some kind...I used a plastic hinged/lid outdoor electrical junction box, the sort you can buy from one of the ‘sheds’ like Homebase/BQ, etc.

This box is normally used to house the sockets/plugs on mains electrical extension leads (so they can be left outdoors in the weather). The cables enter the box via soft-rubber glands which are compressed by a clamp...they work really well….!  The box then lives on the floor in front of the passenger footrest…and all the cables are plenty long enough to ‘run around’ the car.

I hope this info is useful.
Here is a link to the Racelogic site  http://www.velocitybox.co.uk/index.php/en/products/video-loggers.html

Some prices...
Roll-cage forward-facing two part camera mount  RLACS149  £35.00 (2off  £70.00)
3.5" Preview Monitor  RLACS121-M  £85.00
Lens Cover for HQ1 Cameras  MB21HQXGLASS  £8.00
Video VBOX Lite (2 cameras, Low res and High Res) and OLED Display  RLVBVD10LT2 + RLVBDSP05-M  £1195.

Cheers for that, much appreciated!

I'd actually come across the Racelogic kit whilst googling video kits the other week. Its a lot of money but the results looks superb, your video clip looks professionally done with all the video overlays, I think thats the bit that really stands out from the crowd.

Cheers :)
