Re: 2007 Non-Track Photos
What type of camera/lens was used to take those shots? They're fantastic, by the way.

while these cameras are worth some cars, unfortunately most of them are in the 20-year-old NON classic variety....these alone won't get me an atom....the pictures I can take, however....

Just for the hell of it, here's a picture taken using equipment of the other extreme (my son's phone).Â
Finally we have summer in the City of Sails.

Different style of front intakes and the seats look different. Please elaborate. Nice pic, especially for a cell!

Judging by wisp's signature I would assume that this might be due to the car being an Mk1 120. Only a guess though ...

The phone is a Motorola RAZR V3x.
Picture size was originally 1200 x 1600 pixels but has been cropped and resized to 780 x 469 for the web.
I also notice that the size is changed after upload to 640 x 385
Radiators in the Mark 1 were mounted on an angle and the Rover motors were susceptible to damage if they got a bit hot.
This car was owned by the previous Ariel importers for Australia and New Zealand. They made various changes in an effort to improve the car. The modifications to the nose was to improve air flow and aid cooling in the higher Australian temperatures. There is also a thermostat override switch mounted on the dash that allows manual operation of the radiator fan. Very handy if you're sitting in traffic.
The seats are the standard single piece UK type, but have padding added. This was also done by the importer. The padding is held in by Velcro and has the Ariel logo embroidered into them.

It was the padding I was noticing. i think I've seen picts of the intake setup there before.
