It would be great if LifeLine made one in WHITE for the reverse light.
But they don't.
I've asked.
Twice.

Oh well.

1:  originally I did this as well so that I wouldn't have to worry about my bulbs popping out, then I just replaced all my turn signals completely no more bulbs at all.
2:  my reverse light is all LED, was purchased from the UK from the light place that sells a few diff sets of lights...I posted pics on the forum somewhere

3: great minds think alike :tu:

Looks great.
Anything to help people see you're stopping.
How is it attached to the car?
Can you post a link to where I might pick one up.

Hello,

To install you need to drill two additional holes in the aluminum sheet behind the light, one in the center for the mounting of the lifeline light, and one for access for the wire coming out of the back of the light.

Here is where I bought it from http://www.polepositionusa.com/lifeline ... -light.htm

It's a great move to have the Lifeline installed on the back of the Atom.  We actually order all of our demo cars with this option automatically from TMI as it really helps with rear visibility on the cars for our clients who wish to register their Atoms for street use.  Major improvement in visibility for drivers coming up from behind an Atom sitting in traffic.

Yes, I like this so much, I ordered a second one. I intend to replace the reverse lamp, put a Lifeline in its place that will flash (found a nice led programmable flasher). I will put a smaller round reverse lamp in the middle (have to find a nice led one).

Wonder if this can be installed on UK Atoms? Don't see why not....
The brightness of the bulbs - especially with the clear lenses - is pretty poor.

Isn't that what is called a "FIA rain-light" on UK cars ?  Looks identical to me.

Yes, this is the FIA rainlight, the company Lifeline is in the UK, and to my knowledge the only supplier, same one used in FIA, but when you buy it, you need to add a flasher to make it flash.

Yes, can be installed on any 12VDC system, no problem.

How do you mean a flasher ?  can't see anything on the lifeline web-site but if you mean it could flash like the rain lights on F1 cars I am getting one!
