Love the Lagonda. Don't see very many of them, which is too bad. Odd choice on the three headlights per side, though. Some Lagonda interiors were super futuristic:
As I remember, I some even had a CRT display!

Really really like them, although by all accounts the interior electronics are super unreliable and cost $$$$$$ to repair.
Nice car Rob, one of the best lookers around.

Sagen: lol
My sweet Atom is stable mate, not out to pasture or traded.
The (chokes up just a little) Carrera S went into the trade.
As DP35 knows, I was a bit cavalier \ reckless with this episode.
Was offered a killer deal, with "factory incentive", plus great trade offer on the Porsche (ashtray was full, you know, needed brake pads)
Went back @ $5k less than what they'd offered, pretty sure they'd tell me to p*ss off, but they accepted.
Squealing, (actually all parties)
Me with delight.
Them with feinged or real agony, not sure which.
They were determined to move their inventory.
This is a bit oversimplified, but that's the precis version.

There's a funny write-up in Time magazines "The 50 Worst Cars of All Time"
http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/ ... 41,00.html
"The company decided to build the Lagonda with a brace of cutting-edge, computer-driven electronics and cathode-ray displays, which would have been very impressive if any of them ever worked. NASA couldn't have built this car, much less the heirs to Joseph Lucas, the British electronics' famous 'Prince of Darkness.' "

A most enjoyable ride this morning at the last minute. With a couple of shots up the mountain road Cherry something.
Then I saw Joe's former car with a new driver. It was downtown Kirkland and by that time, a pedestrian. I waved and whistled, but did not get any reaction.

Re: NW Molexc
Car looks great as usual! Went for drive last Friday just in the Arlington area, caused quite a stir when we pulled up to a latte stand located between two quick lube shops. Intercooler fan is making intermitent whine noises, another thing to look into.
