Finally getting my Atom tuned for the first time on Saturday.

I plan on replacing my spark plugs and was wondering if I should go with the original ones or upgrade if it's worth it.
Have any of you with Brammo Atom2's changed their spark plugs to a different model, if so which ones are best?

I am having a small issue with my car. When I am driving up to a stop sign or stop light the engine rpms don't just fall down gradually and settle at around 900-1000rpm, but they drop all the way down below 300rpm and then it cycles high and then low and finally settle down around 1000rpm, but sometimes the rpms go so low that the engine stalls.
Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem might be?
I thought it might be the plugs causing the hunting of the engine rpm. could it be the tune?
Is there anything I should change out on the car besides the plugs before I take it to get tuned?

Sounds like it could be an idle control valve issue. If the valve isn't broken, your tuner should be able to tune the idle response (at least, this is possible with a Hondata ECU on a Honda engine).

Shawn (the tuner) should be able to tell you if you have a spark plug issue.
If they're not working correctly, he will know.
