:OT:

Does anybody else have to put up with this sort of thing?

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

Background
My village in Cyprus (Lania) is one of the 12 'Heritage' villages and, as such, we usually get between 40,000-50,000 tourists traipsing through the village every year - sometimes we have had 12 x 60+ seater buses (or more?) in a day!

So I can keep an eye on what's going on I have my Atom under 24/7 video surveillance.

On this occasion I had just returned from a run out and had temporarily parked it outside my gate and was waiting for the engine to cool before parking it and putting the cover back on.

This time of year it is the Russians/Geogians/Ukrainians/Eat Europeans who all seem to be on holiday at the moment - non of them stop to even have a drink or snack but are rushed around the village by the guides - however the cover over my Atom is is often lifted by some of the guides so their group can take photos - do they ever put it back on properly? Do they hell!!

Short Ariel video capturing the sports exhaust on a Atom 4 320

https://youtu.be/G6M2cwdNbE0

Sounds great. Still think I prefer NA or SC but could be won over :)

Had a go at Zolder last Sunday. It was very cold (1-2 °C), big difference with the last time I was there in August. Didn't manage to catch my fastest lap (1.54) on video, but got a chance to test a dual gopro setup.

Looking back I feel like I'm driving too cautious, but it was very crowded and I'd seen some pretty dangerous maneuvres happening allready. Wouldn't want to be hit in the flank with someone outbraking me in his modded E36.

Nice video Paul. Thanks for sharing. :tu:

Its always worth taking it easy around others on tracks days. You literally have no idea of the other drivers skill or lack of it. :o

I have been pushed almost off the circuit before by oblivious idiots who don't even use their mirrors.

Its just not worth the risk. Find some space and then get on it. >:D

It can be hugely frustrating when you find yourself queuing all the time to get past traffic, but thats what happens when you bring one of the quickest cars to a track day. ;)
Atom 4, Clio v6, & some other cars obviously.

Mounted a gopro at the rear, straight under the exhaust, and used that sound for the video. Really happy with this setup.

That's the problem with Castle Combe... going to the right as Peter did and it's just grass. If you're unlucky and go left there's usually next to nothing before you hit the barrier, :OT: like this poor chap in his courtesy car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT6XGQrZc90
