Quick one - which oil

Just got the Atom out of hibernation ! Need to get some oil as whilst level is fine now I know I will need to top up as I start using the car.

Can someone remind me of the right oil ? 2018 supercharged atom 3.

are you sure, that the recommended Castrol Magnatec 10W 40 (A3/B4 I guess?) in fact is fully synthetic and do you perhaps have a link for that?

A3/B4 is a very basic semi performance oil and is recommended by the factory

Interesting, Castrol do not mention this on their German homepage version.

Nonconforming information on their homepage IMO. Any of the three different Magntec 10W40 shows "part synthetic" in the "type" description.

Remember that on the 3.5R Ariel was recommanding CASTROL Edge Titanium FST 10W60.
Now ARIEL is working with MOTUL (it's what i use since 2004 in my Atoms) , very good choice, and in the 300V range, all will be good in the range from 5-10-15W 50-60. All full synthetics of course. Do not look for economy on oil, this is always a loose game.

Hi, now I am completely confused. I have only had my Atom 3 since April. I have no idea which oil is already in the car and do need to do a top up.

I understand that Ariel used to recommend Castrol Magnatec 10W 40 but there are 2 types A/B and A3/B4. I plan to switch over to Motul when I change oil if that is what Ariel now recommend. But which Castrol should I choose?
