Supercharger Replacement

Post by Tifosi116 » Sat Nov 19, 2022 11:36 pm

Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement supercharger for the JR stock one. Mine has developed a knock and I have been unable to find anyone to rebuild it. Thank you!

Just out of interest how many miles are on it. I thought these chargers were bombproof.

5,000 miles on mine currently. I tried to see if there was an option or jut to swap to a turbo setup. It couldn’t find that either. Called Ariel NA and they have no options for me. I thought with the K20 parts would be easier to find!

Doesn't matter where you are in the world these days it's always possible to ship/obtain services from anywhere - all at the click of a button!

I regularly buy from the USA/Canada as I have a 'virtual' US shipping address (in a purchase tax-free state) provided FREE by an international freight forwarder.

To pay I use a pre-paid FairFX MasterCard loaded with US dollars!

It's best to use a pre-paid card because usually there are then very few issues with card 'payment verification' as the money is already preloaded on the card so no verification is required!

Some US companies won't accept foreign cards for internet payments.

In the US many companies offer free delivery within the lower 48 so I make use of this whenever possible to get whatever I've ordered delivered free to my virtual US address and then the forwarder re-ships it to me (US tax-free) in either the UK or Cyprus - usually by UPS which I've found generally to be the cheapest and often the quickest.

NO, Jose at mercracing sell Harrop Supercharger. He don't repair the JR SC - O-ton - it's old technic.
And you need a lot of time for waiting. :-[ :'(
Ariel Atom 3 [2010] Honda 2.0 K20Z4 with JacksonRacing SC only 370PS :H: - never, ever for sale

Atom 3.

Still haven’t had any luck with finding a replacement. I’m open with buying the used one as long as there are no issues with it. How much?

The charger did less than a 1000 miles before i changed it for another one. You can have it for £1000 but you would need to sort carrier to collect from UK.
