Hi. Looks like might have a nice one sorted which is great. Now looking at what i need and gloves is topping my list (on with coat and stuff). Everyone seems to mention sealskinz as being excellent but there are quite a few on their website and hard to tell if any of them are best - guessing dont want anything too thick as wont be able to hold and feel the wheel ?!

Can someone link to an actual model of the glove that they know is very good. This is mainly for winter / spring, i think i am learning towards alpinestar tech gloves for warmer weather.

Thanks !

Hi Rooney1000, what car did you get then?

I'm planning on ordering some of these https://www.blazewear.com/shop-by-acti ... ove-liners along with the matching 12v jacket.

Haven't used them myself but know a few bikers who do and they rate them highly enough.

Sorry, slow response!

Am getting an existing owners 3.5 310 delivered to my house tomorrow (via factory how have serviced and checked over). 2018 plate and only 3,000 miles, looks really nice and pretty much perfect spec. Been sorting through everything now and also asking the factory lots of basic questions (like i am sure everyone did with their first Atom).

Roll on tomorrow !

Hi

So spec is roughly

2018 3.5
3,300 miles
310BHP supercharger
LSD
Alcons front and rear
Handbrake
side kit
Bolt in rollover bar
FIA batter switch
Bilstein adjustable dampers
16" wheel kit
Stainless Fixings
Aero deflectors
12v aux connection
Black powdercoat wheels
Black satin chassis

Current owner is also providing car cover as well as extra set of rims plus track tyres.

Picture here from the factory, being serviced and prepped before they deliver to me. Dark green is me covering number plate - not sure if people still do that these days when posting pics !

Sunshine this weekend as well!!

Thanks

Hi

Mostly road for me but with 2 or 3 track days a year so I am ok with no baffled sump - and track days for me will be fun, not totally full on all day.

Hope you find one soon 8...and enjoy yours when you get it Nam.

Nerves are good. Just take it easy and you'll be fine. I'm sure I'll be crapping it when I get behind the wheel for the first time!

This is the road I'll be pulling out of the driveway on to:

Were you around the Braintree area at the weekend? If so, you were seen by my son, who couldn't wait to tell me that there are 2 Atoms in the town. 5 minutes earlier you would have spotted me heading out for some more "running in" miles.

Cheers,
Rob.

Yes that would have been me, trying to find some nice roads as mostly B roads where I am and wanted some faster roads to get used to the Atom and the speed. Met up with my brother as well, he has an M3 so very different, but made for some quicker runs in certain areas !
