inner tie rod end specs?

Post by texevora » Mon Oct 05, 2020 6:38 am

Anyone know what the inner tie rod end specs are on the Atom 3? I'm based in the US, but i assume UK Atoms use the same setup. My tie rod ends have some slop so need to replace and want to make sure I'm ordering the correct ones.

Might be best to speak to TMI in the US to confirm the spec.

The early Brammo built US cars were a different spec I believe, but you have an Atom 3 so it’s probably a TMI built car.

In the UK, the rod ends used are produced by Aurora.
There are 2 specs - standard and race spec.

They are available from the UK factory as are the bearings at the ends of the actual shock absorbers.
Other web sites sell them too ..

This earlier thread may help :-

This is one of the sites that list the standard and race spec parts:

Thanks John, yes, mine is a TMI built one. I have an email out to them as well, but they often won't provide exact specs vs just selling them.
