Crank Sensor Error

Post by Sledgehammer » Sat Jul 25, 2020 7:26 pm

Hello,
i have some problems with my 2005 SC Atom with KPro4.
Car wont rev more then 3.000 RPM and error P0335 Crank Sensor no Signal popped up.
First i checked the wiring, 12.6V , Ground, Sensor wire from connector to Hondata, all fine.
New Sensor fitted, Error Code cleared (with Hondata software) now error P0336 Circuit Range / Performance.
Rev to 3.000 rpm limited.
Is there a relearn/reset of the sensor to do ?

Thanks

Great news that you have found the answer!

What did you find was the problem? - Sometimes, the wiring loom has got burnt behind the rear number plate due to not doing a good slowing down lap on track during hot weather.

The Problem was the Aftermarket Sensor my mechanic bought. It was a 70€ Delphi Sensor that was crap.
I ordered a original Honda Sensor (Denso) 177€ and it works. Lesson of the day....Dont waste your money on Aftermarket parts. The magnetic field of the Denso is two times stronger then the Delphi Sensor.
