What's the difference between the one with the two outlets and single outlet?

I'm looking at two build sheets that have no mention of the exhaust and one has two and the other has one.

One is the sports exhaust other one is standard, not sure which way round they are. Sure someone will confirm details.

Hmm I wonder why it's not on the build sheet then. Any idea if the sports will pass normal trackday noise limits of 97 and 105?

From what I heard, no, it won’t pass noise restrictions.

And yes it’s on the sheet I’ve got, both normal, sport and both.

Thanks Phil, I didn't mean the configurator, I've got the invoices of two actual cars with all the specs listed and neither mention the exhaust at all.

Ah, sorry... no idea then. But yes, 1 exit=sports, 2 exists=normal.

If the invoice for the cars you have has the sports exhaust (one hole exit) but the exhaust is not listed on the invoice then it is likely that those car(s) have the 350bhp power upgrade on them. Very early on, Ariel included the sports exhaust with the 350bhp power upgrade then soon later revoked the sports exhaust because (I guess) the sports exhaust without the standard version makes no sense for track days because it's too loud, and why would you spec an Atom with the power upgrade if you are not going to take it on track. So it makes sense from this regard.

I am considering getting a sports exhaust just when not on track because it does sound better. If anyone has one they want to sell, let me know, they are expensive from the factory.

Yea both the cars are 350. What's the prices of the exhausts from the factory?

I have a 350 car, and both exhausts. Sports exhaust (single exit) has been on the car since new. I had a track day at Snetterton last week and thought I'd test the sports exhaust before I went. 108.5db static! Needless to say, I fitted the standard exhaust, and I can't see me going back to the sports. It sounds great, but I doubt it will pass any circuit's noise testing.
