Radical or second and Ultima GTR would be my choice in that price range. I don't consider a Lotus in the same league, they also lose too much money and vastly overpriced in my opinion. I too spent a while going round in circles and came back to the Atom.

That said, Radicals don't hold their value as well and most cannot be used on the road without work.

As we discussed previously I would love one.

I can't justify the £70k+ to get the one i would want tho. Maybe sell the Clio too.... But thats appreciating nicely.

I've been down this route thinking about what else I'd have for the money and I always come back to the Atom. The new Exige is very expensive for what it is, the Caterham 620R feels like it's just got too much power for the chassis, the old Ultima GTRs look great but for somebody as clueless with the spanners as me, it'd probably never get off the drive. In my opinion, unless your budget starts with an 8 or above, the Atom is the ultimate fun car!

The only issue is what else to buy in the price range £55-65k when your not a porsche fan. Lotus maybe?

It took some time to settle on an Atom all those years ago.
