Atom fuel tank removal

Afternoon all,

How do you get the fuel tank out of an Atom 3? Does it come out through the top or bottom of the car once all the bolts are undone? I've pulled the engine out already and want to get the tank out tomorrow but not done that before. I can see two bolts at the top edges of the tank, are there any other fixtures? Any other pointers gratefully received.

Hello!
2 bolts at rhe top edge, and 2 others on the back at the bottom from memory.
It comes out through the bottom when the engine is still here, not easy, but maybe you could try through the top.

Removed mine last week
After talking to Steve at the factory
Remove the 4 bolts drop the tank down on the non filler neck end and wiggle it out
It went in a lot easier than it came out

Is that with the engine still in? I always thought the engine had to be out to get the tank out?

Did you wiggle it out through the top of the car or out through the bottom?

I did it with the engine out
But it can be done with the engine in
Definitely comes out underneath
