Yes the Radicals are unbelievably quick, especially the SR8. My neck was sore a few days after. And my left ear felt like someone had hit my ear drum with a baseball bat until I used ear plugs. Overtaking Porche GT3's on the outside like they are in slow motion is fun!

Unbelievably, the Atom was born 20 years ago, but we're not cheating here as the 2018-launched Atom 4 is pretty much a new car from the ground up. 

The Civic Type R engine is the same, but it's now turbocharged rather than supercharged. 

316bhp shoves the 4's 595kg open-framed mass through the 0-100mph dash one second quicker than the crazily quick Nissan GT-R. 

Pure sports motoring, as long as you don't mind wearing a crash helmet or waiting three years for delivery. They start at £150,000.
