Picked my 4 up earlier from Steve at Mint Condition for PPF fitment. He had done the PPF on Badders car in this thread. Very pleased with the results. As all Atom owners will know, the cars do suffer from stone chips etc, due to them being so exposed to the elements. It’s good to have peace of mind when going for a drive, that the car will still look great when you get back.

I have been speaking to Paul at Definitive Detail off of Badders recommendation also and plan to take my car to him as soon as I can pick it up. Seem like a nice couple of guys with great talent. He will also ceramic coat all the alloy parts to help slow corrosion on uprights and other alloy exposed parts.
Glad you are happy with it.

I considered the ceramic coating. But I have to say in over 4 years of owning my 3.5, I never suffered corrosion on any part of the car. So for £550+, I don’t see the point. Stone chips are inevitable without PPF mind you.

I'm pleased you guys got in touch. They're a great bunch, and do a brilliant job.
That's the same coverage I had SvenTheHammer I keep finding extra bits on the car when I take a close look.

Interestingly, when I spoke to Paul, I mentioned I wanted something to protect the floor in the car. He mentioned a thicker PPF but I suspect that will get worn quite quickly and said a matt would be better. So now I am considering a partial floor matt like this:

You’ll have to make sure they’re glued down, otherwise they’ll be sliding all over the place whilst driving. I tried some matts in my 3.5, and they were no good. I didn’t want to glue them to the flooring weave.

Put some PPF or wrap down and then glue the rubber mats to that. That's what I did and was able to remove and replace once my heals wore through the mat.
Double up on PPF to the lower wishbones and pushrods as they get a lot of punishment. I had 3 layers and replaced the top 2 at regular intervals. Also, the lower, front engine bay tube can get stone damage so do that as well.

Great tips, thanks. I was initially thinking of using velcro, so sticking velco to the weave using 3M stuff and sticking the matts to that. The PPF is a great idea then gluing the matt to that.

I have no idea Tompy. I was sent this pic I posted on WhatsApp, which saved it to my photos on my phone. I posted the image on here from my photos.

Badders SvenTheHammer Paul has my car now and is doing his magic on it. I am having all of what Sven listed covered but also some additional parts like; full front mudguards - the back side is open to abuse from the rear tyres. The front to mid vertical tubes all around as on track this area can take a beating from stones. The aero screen - the front side to make cleaning easier without scratching it. The full front carbon bonnet. He is smoking out the intercooler and fuel tank using a smoked PPF material - we are going to see what this looks like. The fuel filler hole when over filling by accident drips fuel on the rear lower wishbone so he is doubling up there.
Are there any other areas you would have fitted now in hindsight that has been missed from the template? Paul will update the template with the additional bits I am having done for others folks with their 4's so we will end up with a ever growing updated and improved template.

I have posted this on other threads but in the end I made some floor mats velcro'ed down using 2 round velcro tabs. Seems to work just fine, I have driven 250 miles with these and they don't move.
