I never saw it like that too....till my of my little ones who I have involved in choosing the colour mentioned it. Now I cannot get it out of my head. :P
I am going for blue all over with a white chassis as I saw one in black there with white chassis and it looked brilliant to me.
It is better than silver for contrast and shines really well in sunlight.

If it helps,

2-8-18 I paid my deposit and got the build spec finalised along with second deposit paid on 26-8-20.

Can’t wait to drive it home 250 miles in the winter assuming it’s ready Dec/Jan/Feb 🤒

Maybe I need to think this through a bit more?

This is the first car I have bought where it’ll probably result in the acquisition of suitable elements of clothing...

My kids do the same. White or black frame is a safe bet I think. I almost went for white, then decided black with the carbon fibre bling to have the bug look :roflp:

I do plan to get a little bit of colour - need someone to help with this.

autobackup wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2020 5:33 pmSlightly off topic but can anyone who has an Atom 4 with the full factory aero fitted tell me the measured distance between the rear wing vertical end plates? Top rear left tip to the top rear right tip!
Better late than never, Mr A. Backup, but the answer is 84cm.

Cheers,

Could do with more people sticking up pictures of the different colour combinations.

Was kinda hoping the factory would take a pic of all the cars leaving and I could flick through them when i visit. Too much to ask?

I had made a similar ask - at least for more unusual ones.

I guess there are only so many variations on white - silver - grey - dark grey - black :-)

I think there should be a gallery where new owners put a photo of their cars. We will be able to see various combos and get a genuine idea what different colours scoop, bonnet and chassis look like.
It will also give a fair idea what's most common or preferred.

There are a couple snaps here: https://ariel.club/ariel-atom-4/

I am always sharing pics of my car probably people are getting sick of the sight of it! I also share setup tips/feedback, feedback, YouTube videos etc etc. I think we do need more of this if owners are willing because it's not the run of the mill vehicle and otherwise you only learn by doing yourself. There is so much knowledge in this small community that can benefit others.

Here are some pictures of where the car is most happy, the track!

I am in the middle of editing another video of mostly road driving because I had a load of people messaging me wanting to see it.
