Wow please find out and let me know, whatever they used has done an amazing job!!!! :tu: 8)

I'm about to start pulling my engine/box out for some winter work so may take the opportunity to clean up my casings as well, I've never seen "used" casings restored as well as yours :vroom:

Cheers

This build is so clean and stylish it is downright rude to drive it out into the elements.

I powdercoaded an H22A valvecover in Honda racing yellow once before. This brings back so many good memories. I much prefer it to the redheads. 8) 8) 8)

Looking at lots of options at the moment for next season & wanted to ask with you pushing over 350 hp the stock Jackson charger is nearing its limit, when building the engine did you spec for a larger charger down the line? Like yourself I really like the sound of the Jackson sc but am aware of its limitations so am in two minds with regards to going for a Rotrex sc or turbo!

No plans to change the charger at present
After talking to lots of Honda people the stock engine will take 400hp but it's right on its limits
So though was as it's a new engine why not make it reliable and future proof for more power
The main reason for going down this route fancied more power/ toque
Also fancied a bit of a challenge and going down a different route
Main thing is to get it up and running and then when we know what the figures see where we go

What cams did you choose to go with? custom grind for supercharged application?

Have you changed your fuel pump / injectors at all from standard. Its just that I was lead to believe while building my 2.2 K20 engine that the standard in tank pump / fuel rail and injectors are virtually maxed out at 350bhp. If you want to ultimately achieve more than this the standard fuel system just won't do it, neither will just fitting new injectors.

I'm certainly interested to watch how a K24/K20 head engine performs so good luck with project.

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart
No all standard at present going to get the car on the dyno
See what it does and then change the fuel as required
Hopefully January should see it on the dyno 👍

Hi All
The way to make alloy look new is by aqua blasting its the same as sand blasting but water is added.it looks like new when its done and a coat of clear cot makes it look even better.
