Keep the updates coming Ian, can't wait to see the dyno outcome. I've now also taken the plunge, maybe it will be called project 3xx and let the public decide what xx should be. In a nutshell I have decided to go with a full rebuild from Mike (MMR) but with a stroker kit, so it's all interesting and good times ahead.

irg100 what supercharger and inlet manifold are you using? Are you fitting a chargecooler system?

Also, what lightened flywheel did you go for and what is the weight? I'm pulling my engine out over winter and thinking of going for a lightweight flywheel. My current/standard flywheel weighs 4.8kg (measured when I last changed clutch), strangely a lot of the advertised "lightweight" flywheels weigh more than that.

Cheers

Clutch is a stage 1 unit made by Exedy in Japan who I am led to believe make the original clutch for Honda

Turbo was an option still like the Supercharger noise though :vroom:
same reason I am on the fence about a supercharger vs turbo. Once i heard the noise in my buddies Atom I was hooked!! But the k24 turbo has some simple options to increase power

That is a serious looking catch can! Nice work throughout, it's a gem.

I have the Exedy stage 2 with 3 puck clutch and stock flywheel. Ran all 2019 season perfectly, 200wtq/249whp. I got a stock flywheel to try to keep up the knock control functionality with Flashpro but it was a total failure. It set off the knock sensor all the time so it's turned off. If I knew, I would have gotten a light flywheel.

If you don't want the sidepods, but want serious power,
you may consider the Water/meth injection system, to reduce IATs and be more knock resistant.

I'm running a Rotrex on a stock K20A (the JDM one, with the high CR) in my Atom, without Chargecooler or intercooler,
only spraying watermeth past 8PSI (between 8PSI and 15PSI), my IATs are good and i got no knock, even on summer trackday ;)

I'm running 350hp on a 2.0L

irg100 is that a brand new gearbox, or have they just cleaned up your old gearbox casing? If they just cleaned it, what did they use? 8)

Cheers
