Shipping Atom to another country

Has anyone shipped their Atom overseas from the UK? specifically the US? I am interested in experiences around cost, hassle, length of time, process to register in the US, which freight forwarder you used. How they shipped it via road when getting inland. The more details the better.

Hmm ... registering in the US can be tricky and very dependent on which state ..


Also, their approvals are different to ours, hence why a lot of theirs have a windscreen etc.
Wouldn't you be better off just buying a US spec one from TMI over there?

Shipping an Atom there and trying to register it is a minefield.
Much better to get an Ariel NA car and let them help you with the reg...
