I suspect they will, buuuut be prepared to never get them wet, intentional or otherwise.

That is a very good point. I do not plan to get mine wet but you never know.

These so called 'suede' seat inserts are generally made using 'Nubuck' which looks rather like suede but which is both considerably higher quality and much more expensive than suede - it is what DuBarry waterproof sailing boots are constructed from (albeit with a Gore-Tex lining) and which, by definition can get very wet when working the foredeck of a sailing boat!

- If properly treated NuBuck is relatively waterproof and can be smartened up/re-waterproofed periodically by first brushing to remove any surface dirt and then spraying with a proprietary cleaner/waterproofing agent!
