Ariel atom 2 sloppy gear linkage

Hi guys,
I have recently acquired an atom 2 ‘220’ amazing car the only issue I’m having is with the sloppy gear selection from 2nd to 3rd, the gearshift does not spring back into the middle position but sits up against the cage, which can make changing from 2nd to 3rd become 2nd to 1st! I know this is an mgtf gearbox, so can I just use a second hand cage from one of those ? Or is it an atom only job? And what parts do I actually need to remedy this? Thanks in advance

I changed these springs in my Atom 2. There is a choice of how stiff you want um.
