This is recommended by the factory - Autosol BLUING REMOVER Stainless Steel Exhaust Cleaner

Ian

Avoid polishing the exhaust altogether by having it Zircotec'd (inside & out) which also has the added benefit of adding about 2-3% power and NEVER have to polish it ever again!

Find some really fine wire wool and apply really light pressure to polish using the Autosol Blue.

Remember to wear gloves as it's caustic !

Can finish off if required with a cloth.

I'm thinking of going down the Zircotec route on the new one if the Factory don't think that it will be an issue on the turbo car. I hated the exhaust looking messy and I hated cleaning it after every run out, so I'm hoping that this will be the solution!

Cheers,
Stu

I know its bit anal - but my winter pass time - I'm looking forward to being in the garage, listening to the rain tippling on the roof, music on, maybe a cool one in hand - polishing the exhaust by hand!

If you’re really being anal, take it off and mess up the kitchen.

Much easier, warmer, you won’t skin your knuckles so much and you won’t miss any bits!
