Yeah saw that reappear too. If it was me I'd put the car back to stock, take much better pictures and sell the wheels/wings/carcoon etc. separately. It's got FFSH so should be sound.

Yes - it 's worth checking with the factory - iirc its had a new chassis. I checked this one out in dec 18 - very good condition with 310 tune on

Why would a car need a new chassis? Especially as the vehicle check isn’t coming up with any accidents.

I started this thread to help people find out about any potential purchases and to help avoid problem cars, or at least go in with their eyes wide open. Can you provide any more details?

Category S car that was repaired without telling the insurance company. Being sold by a dealer who claims he doesn't know of that history,

There some dogs and frogs out there ... it takes a while to find your princess

I dont mind taking one that's been repaired properly or one that requires TLC, but wanting top dollar for something that is a cat S or with a dodgey service history or requires £5k of work or has been registered new 3.5 years after it was produced.

Then claiming they know nothing is taking the p*ss.

This seems to be a good entry-level Atom - Atom 2 220 for £19.50k, 45k miles with full factory service history and some nice upgrades. The current owner has just bought a 3.5, so may well be on here?
