Different tyre pressures on toyo/kumho/yoko??
Re: Different tyre pressures on toyo/kumho/yoko??
In order for me to get a comfortable T&H I put spacers behind the throttle peddle to raise it, plus I turned the throttle peddle 180° and shifted it to the right to stop me catching the throttle when braking hard!

Yours are height adjustable too !
The process involves adjusting the brake cylinder pushrod nuts to move the brake pedal to the correct height for you.

Has anyone tried out other tyres? I was thinking of the likes of Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R or Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2.

The Pirelli P Zero Troffeo R minimum width for front tyres that would fit an Atom 15" rims is 205mm rather than the 195mm specified size - these would probably fit on the rims but might be very tight fit under the mudguards - they make a suitable 225 for 16" rear wheels.

However others, both in this forum and outside, have advised me that the sidewalls might be too stiff for an Atom to get much heat into them as it is such a light car and, while probably not bad for road use(?) might not work too well on a track - added to which they also b****y expensive!
They are primarily designed for use on much heavier cars - e.g. they are used in the Porsche Cup.
