Excellent....

That puts us up to;

3 for the 2.0l
1 for the 2.4l

Any other takers.

Who made the box to reduce the noise for use on track?

Cheers

Likely a cracked weld so a one off.

Additional box made by Infinity Exhausts Bristol, though any fabricator can do it.

Price for 3 Sports Exhuasts for 2.0L engines is £912+VAT

Not a huge saving!

SirNick - Please discuss with Rookie at the first service about the buzz and we can we can take it from there.

Henry

Is the £912+VAT for the polished or non-polished exhaust?

Simon

To my understanding the Sports Exhaust doesn't tarnish unlike the standard exhaust as only one pipe (right as viewed from the rear) actually is used for the exhaust the other exhaust pipe (left as viewed from the rear) is purely a dummy and I believe is that the silencer is double skinned(?) so as the outer skin of the silencer doesn't get hot it doesn't tarnish?

For me personally the sports exhaust is simply too noisy as I much prefer performance without getting a headache - I'm not sure how much the performance is enhanced by fitting the sports exhaust but for me personally loud doesn't mean better - I personally much prefer a more stealthy approach by not attracting attention!

My 3.5 310 had plenty of performance but when I get my Atom back from the factory after it has been upgraded to a 3.5R with Ohlins I rather suspect that it's performance will stupendous but will still be reasonably quiet and won't upset the neighbours in our mountain village when returning late at night!!

Hi Simon:

The mo. is that if we can get 5 of us together all wanting the same type of exhaust the cost would be;

£650+VAT ea for non-polished.
£750+VAT ea for polished.

Think that's correct.

If you are interested in one for a 2.0l then that's 4 of us who are interested currently.

The higher price mentioned is what it would be if we cant get the 5 minimum order.

Are you guys still waiting on this? I'm late to the party, but would be interested in a polished sports exhaust for a 2.0l.
