GoPro Bracket
Re: GoPro Bracket
Apart from the repeated apostrophe in the plural 'cameras' that looks interesting.
I've always wondered why everybody defaults to the GoPro when there are many alternatives that are actually waterproof!
I might buy one of them. Any experienced opinion welcome.

Re: GoPro Bracket
That system sounds & looks good. Decent price, too. Might get front & rears jobs, each for the Ace & Nomad.
Nice find, ta.

Re: GoPro Bracket
I use a GoPro in a waterproof case that accommodates a permanent DC feed - it turns off with the ignition switch but while the ignition is on it only needs turning on once and lasts until either the car is shut down or the micro SD card is full!!

Re: GoPro Bracket
In my 3.5R there is a single feed from the loom directly behind the seats and also another one under the dash - Ariel made up a couple of Y adapter flying leads with a waterproof 'click' loom connector on one end with 2 x12v lighter sockets on the other which is where I plug in my intercom and the GoPro and anythelse that I need to power!

Swift work AlanP!
I may even approach them as a potential 'marketing exercise'. They have featured some 3 wheeled motor as a case study. Maybe they'd be interested in a 4 wheeled 'bike'.

Re: GoPro Bracket
Received and played with, not yet fitted to car. It's a very nicely made piece of kit, the main unit is smaller than I expected. I've powered it on and connected to my phone dead easy.
I fitted a 128GB micro SD card. It needs to be FAT32 formatted but the device will do that itself straightforwardly. So far a good experience.

Sven,
Nice to talk with you and the mrs the other day.If things haven't got complicated enough bare with me and go to www.force4.co.uk they do a rail mounting system that suits the tubular nature of our cars.Type in 290124 for a start.
Dunny.

Re: GoPro Bracket
Well C5 now fitted.
In short,
Delivered Tuesday after ordering Friday evening, pretty good.
Nicely boxed and well presented.
Look closely at the annotated picture in the instructions to determine which button is which.
Fits together very nicely.
I had some trouble upgrading the firmware as it was a little confusing what was the 'root' directory. I could only see it clearly when I connected my phone to the DVR.
The online help girl was really quick.
I ordered the additional 'flexible mounting bracket' but didn't need it in the end.
Comes supplied with lots of screws and 3M sticky material and stuff.
Very pleased so far!
I will now try to add some photographs.
