Hi Alan, now you’ve used this for a while now, are you still very happy with it?

I think that it is very good, the sound gets overloaded too easily and I haven't tried a remote mic yet, though I have bought one. Other than that it seems to do the job well.

Perhaps we can meet briefly at some point, as I’d like to look over it before ordering.

Next time it’s dry and you have a spare hour, we can meet half way.....?

I'd love to hear how you get on with an external mic AlanP.

I didn't have any joy with mine, but it was a £3.95 job from China, so maybe there's a lesson there to be learnt...

@Karl

The external mic is on a different level from the onboard one. I've mounted it at the bottom of the driver's deflector. At low speeds it is perfect, at higher speeds there is no wind noise but all the other sounds are oddly suppressed. It's as if it attenuates the wind noise but as a consequence everything else is made quieter, it is a minor complaint though as I can now heat ther gearbox and the engine and me shouting!

Interesting, thanks AlanP.

I may be tempted to give it a try then.

Sounds awesome! BUT it is a shame it cancels out at higher speed. The gearbox noise!!!!!! I could listen to that all day!

It’s good Alan, but not good enough, please try harder.

😂

That rather exaggerated the effect.

I'll get a more representative bit.
