I understand they're not.  Last I read they're made by Arch Motors, who apparently also do Caterham chassis too.

This may have all changed, and may have been inaccurate to begin with, so I'm open to learning more through being corrected.

Let Arch do their work, and you end up with a piece of artwork......

They only make the  7 CSR chassis now and normal ones for people who dont want anything else but! you dont ask you dont get.....with a 7.

The price of the Atom in an overall view is keen imho. the car is worth the asking price compared to what is about with the performance the Atom offers. The 3.5 has leveled the game comparing handling challenges as I see it.

Main point is its hard to say a definitive answer as there is little around to compare the car too!

Putting aside the arguments about the unique design, the cost of individual parts and the bespoke service – the true cost of driving an Ariel is what you pay for insurance and servicing...and what you LOSE when you sell it.

On that basis, for what it's capable of, and the fun it gives you, I think it's excellent value.

Atom (165) > Atom 2 (220) > Atom 3 (300) > Atom 3.5 (310) > Atom 4 (350).

I think the car is fairly priced...

but...

I also know that the base cost of the car belies the cost of parts and repairs, which are on a par with more expensive cars. This can surprise people the first time they experience it.

If you'd paid the much higher price for a car with equivalent performance, then the cost of spares and repairs would seem on par.
