5th Gear North Pole trip to North Pole

Hey guys,

just curious. In the 5th Gear Atom review, there is mention of a trip to the North Pole with an Atom. Is there anymore known footage or write-ups about this trip?

This was something Tom Ford (5th Gear presenter) did for Top Gear Magazine. You might still be able to get a back issue?

I have a scan of it somewhere...

And on the DVD collection I made some time ago, there's footage of Mr Ford in an Atom going through a car wash...

Was leafing through a copy of the Top Gear Portfolio: The World's Greatest Cars (essentially some of their best automotive photography) and there is a photo of the Atom on said trip.

I seem to remember a segment on the TV show referring to the trip and the fact the Atom did not miss a beat
