Good to watch, but I got fed up with the adverts kicking in, so downloaded a copy to my computer and watched it with no interruptions.

Great article on Ariel following the Atom 4's back-to-back victories at Autocar’s Britain’s Best Driver’s Car contests

Dallara Stradale 1min 33.4
Ariel Atom 4 1min 35.2
McLaren 600lt 1min 35.6
Porsche 718 gt4 1min 39.6
That is one hell of a laptime from the atom. Quicker than the 600lt and only beaten by the dallara.
I dont understand this, the 3.5R did a 1.13 with evo magazine (Mono did 1.07)
How can this difference be so big

There are different layouts at Anglesey, the Coastal has the little downhill corkscrew and the International has a long loop instead. Always like going to Anglesey and the cross country drive through Wales there and back.

Had a chat with Steve (I think) when I picked my car up who said that Ferrari turned up with 2 cars, one road spec, the other track, a van full of tyres and 3-4 technicians. Still came third….
Magazines really shouldn’t accept that nonsense.

Something wrong with the GT3s if that is happening. The Atom is rapid but doubt it would pull anything on a GT3 on s straight. I was at Snetterdon in my 3.5 SC and on the straights I was pretty much the same as my brother's f80 M3 CP. Of course much better braking and cornering but on the straight, not a lot in it.Anon wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2019 10:28 amYes the Radicals are unbelievably quick, especially the SR8. My neck was sore a few days after. And my left ear felt like someone had hit my ear drum with a baseball bat until I used ear plugs. Overtaking Porche GT3's on the outside like they are in slow motion is fun!kelvin12382003 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 9:20 pm
The acceleration is just astonishing! Its the fastest car I have ever been driven on a track! I remembered the radicals were quite quick that day!

Sorry, unless you mean the radicals were leaving the GT3s. Clearly my point is about the atom
