A048's no longer available for road use

I'm new, so not sure if everyone is already aware of this, but as per the title Yokohama have withdrawn the A048's for road use. They will now be marked for track use only with yellow markers on them. They have also stopped making (the size I have fitted on my rears) 225/45/16.

What tyres will you guys be using/recommending now?

I've just ordered some AD08's for winter use and to keep my A048's for next summer.

The E marked version have been in short supply for a while. I'm considering giving the Nankang AR-1 a try when I next need to reboot

I stocked up earlier this year for that very reason

I've got a pair of part worn front A048's, have to check what is left on them but reasonable I think.

We have stock of the A048 that are still legal to use on the Road. If you need another set of rears, please get in touch. £145+VAT each.
