That's a good price, especially for London.  Is there a milage restriction?

Mine was 700 for a 67k car in Central London. If you fit into their age/risk bracket, they are pretty cheap.

Just had a quote from CCI.  Two pounds more expensive than my renewal quote from AF.  Also their excess is £150 more than AF.

They do however include the 5 trackdays which I don't currently have, but I have given up using the Atom on track because of the noise problems and random nature of the test results.

I will probably go with CCI, partly to help them get a foothold but mainly because AF sent me a renewal by email a handful of days before the end of the term stating they would automatically debit the credit card I used the previous year up to 3 days before due date.  I believe it's a deliberate policy to give little time and catch out the unwary.
I spend massive chunks of time aaway from my email and even when available I'm not minded to check it that often.  I was lucky this time.

My 245 is IVA'd now, so should be able to pick it up in 2 weeks time.

Got 5,000 miles, 5 track days (2 allowed in EU - but not Nordschleife!) for £565

Well pleased, but have to get tracker as it's >£40K insured value.
(I did originally spec this, but took it off the options list as I 'heard' it wasn't necessary and was abit of a pain to manage)

Thanks John H for setting this up - All very painless!

I am currently working on a new deal via Towergate in conjunction with another insurer, which should be even better..................watch this space.

OK, who's the insurance company of choice now? Is it this club deal with CCI/Avia? I was with Footman James until they deserted Atoms last year and then I went with Reis. Any insurance recommendations 'hot off the press' much appreciated.  -Sam

It's renewal time. CCI £70 cheaper than REIS plus the extra trackday. Result.
Nice work John.

Hello guys.  I had a quote from Towergate for £477.96 - does that sound good?

[/quote]If you're 17 and just passed your test, yup, could be. Given what you've put though who knows?

You've been well ripped off then - especially considering you've no hair. I used to get penalised the same and for having feet the size of a midget ;D
In this day and age getting insurance for an Atom for less than a monkey is good going.....
Cheers, Hedge
