Re: Dream Car
If this works you will have some money saved to tick all the great boxes in the spec sheet. ;) There were two Atom 4 technically approved with TÜV acceptance test recently which are now road legal in Germany. Would you perhaps be allowed to at least store the Atom at your home with external registra...

Re: Dream Car
I read a report, that people from Denmark have the car registered and located in Germany through a special company, which saves the additional tax. However the report also states, that somebody from Denmark would not be allowed to drive a car in Denmark with external registration.(?) Perhaps an opti...

Upgrade for 240mm Standard Brakes Atom 2 - 3.5
I was looking for an alternative to the Alcon brake discs which unfortunately was very unsuccessful, but during my research I found some information, which may be interesting for those who have the standard brakes front and/or rear. (I hope it has not been posted before...) I learned that the Atom h...

Re: Brake Bleed Nipples, replacement, Stahlbus
Just to share the result... I received information from Ariel, that 3/8 x 24UNF is fine and the total length below the nut is 19mm. I measured the thread of the original bleed nipples sticking out of the calliper and it was 3mm+. So I ordered the ones with the 16mm total length as linked above. Alth...

Re: Which type of brakes
This is for the Atom brakes and as far as I remember ;) (Nomad may be different) Standard brakes: - 240mm discs front and rear - fronts ventilated, rears solid - floating calipers Sport brakes: same version/dimension as Standard, but other discs and pads Alcon brakes: - 290x22mm ventilated discs - 4...

Brake Bleed Nipples, replacement, Stahlbus
I would like to replace the brake bleed nipples by Stahlbus ones. In another topic I found that the correct replacement from Speed Bleeders would be SB3824, so a 3/8 x 24 thread. Would the SB-110511 be a suitable replacement from Stahlbus with 3/8 × 24UNF and 16mm total length below the hexagon? htt...

Re: Suspension, Bell Crank Greasing
Thank you both. From pictures in other posts I understand, that I have the RBBCs. Silly question :) : is it necessary at all to regrease them or should the original grease almost last for life like in wheel bearings? Just asking, because the bell cranks are not mentioned in the service overview in t...

Suspension, Bell Crank Greasing
Hello,
This is an image of my Atom 3 rear left bell crank.
I was wondering, whether this little silver shining thing is a grease fitting and if so, how I could service this correctly, so which tool and grease I could use.(?)
Thanks

Re: Areo screen or full windscreen not sure which to have
There is, of course, the distinct advantage of an Atom with the full windscreen (and side panels?) being more slippery than an aeroscreen equipped one - being quicker and with a higher top speed!👍🙄 :police: Takes cover :fence: ...but with a lack of power due to less air pressure at the air ...

Re: Areo screen or full windscreen not sure which to have
Looks very similar to the one for the 3/3.5, but does not harmonise that good with the new air intake IMO. AFAIR it even is or can be heated now, which is a good advantage. You may never need it during driving but in the evening after standing still for a longer time there can be water condensation ...

Re: Areo screen or full windscreen not sure which to have
I agree with autobackup. Most owners, who have the aero screens seem to wear helmets, which I now would not like anymore. Therefor I am very happy having the full windscreen. No wind issues at any speed, depending on body height of course. It is not a big deal to retrofit it (for Atom 3 an 3.5), so ...

Re: PRG E Tech 77 trailer and GT covers
Is the manufacturer "Pongratz" perhaps known in the UK? Although not enclosed ones the LAT 350 G-K and the LAT 400 T-K might be worth a look. I have the 350 which is very light (starts below 400kg) and priced at 2100€ as basis. As low budget solution I bought a used one, added a welded fra...

So the ZZS are fitted now
Is the recommended tyre pressure the same as for the A048 which would be 16/19 psi front/rear for road use as per the handbook?
