Jackson Racing Supercharger (JRSC) Service and Repair

I disassembled my JRSC once and unfortunately found that the metal coating on the rotors has peeled off. 1) Can someone help me and tell me what kind of coating is applied there and in what thickness in microns? 2) What bearings are installed in the snout? 3) Is it correct that the two rear bearings...

Re: The Bastard's Build

cvjoint Yes, I have installed an extra oil cooler that the Factory installed for me in 2016. But it's probably installed incorrectly - it's not in the airstream, but across it. In the meantime, I built an air duct for the airflow, but it's obviously not very efficient - but much b...

Re: The Bastard's Build

20210620_110533.jpg Great run - I love your vids. I see you have taped off the air intakes in the nose. :H: Did you drive those times at Laguna Seca in the winter? In CA the weather is rather hot, are you aware of the oil temperature? The cooling system on this one is extensive. It has to be over 1...

Re: Imobiliser lamp malfunction

email me henry@arielmotor.co.uk and i will talk with our service team and see if we can solve the problem :) I might advise first off - to disconnect the gauges etc you have added, and see if the lamp + immobiliser works normally without the extras. HenryJS thx for answering. The...

Re: Handbrake piston adjuster tool

You will need something like this a brake rewind tool https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/am-tech-21pc-brake-piston-wind-back-tool-553991140 IanG thank you for the tip. However, in order to adjust the brake caliper piston with this tool, I have to remove the brake caliper from the veh...

Handbrake piston adjuster tool

The handbrake caliper has a manual brake piston adjuster. The piston must be adjusted with a tool so that the brake pads fit cleanly. I am now looking for a tool that I can use to turn the brake piston when it is installed. The tool should be narrow enough to fit between the caliper piston and the b...

Duff useless, broken, or of poor quality If you describe something as duff, you mean it is useless, broken, or of poor quality. Thank you for the explanation. I wouldn't assume that. He certainly doesn't read everything on the forum. Why don't you just call him? My English is not as well that I cou...

Re: Imobiliser lamp malfunction

I'd say you maybe out of luck - I did read something about the alarm not liking being without power for a long time but nothing useful to return it to it's regular state. Really that is not a problem. Every winter I fiddled out the battery and put the battery in my office or in the basement. Failin...

Re: Wanted - Front towing kit

Do you want to buy it for a front wing or only for towing?
Keep in mind that if you have a small frontal impact, your car frame is probably wrecked.

Re: Imobiliser lamp malfunction

Only one bundled wiring harness comes out of the immobiliser unit. These black cables end in a plug with many connections. There is also a small cable lug that is for the antenna. This big connector is then in turn plugged into a connector in the car wiring harness. I have not changed anything here ...
