And you need a lot of time for waiting. :-[ :'(

Re: Clutch sometimes releases while pedal down

I'm not sure what kind of engine Deane Atom have installed. He has an Atom 3S - so it's a US model. If you have the K20 engine, the clutch slave cylinder is circled in red in the picture. IMG_6226.jpg It is very tight. The bleed nipple, see green circle, is under the black rubber ...

The easiest way is: not using the indicator lights - as I do. ;D

Re: The Bastard's Build

I used an OBD logger with Dual GPS and Harry's before, it was a bit much at times with GoPro/OBD/GPS. But now I have to wire in the Hondata, I log it in case I have engine problems so I can send it to the tuner. The Hondata software is decent for visualizing the sensors as well. But yeah, you can't...

Re: The Bastard's Build

I talk about the speedo in the upper right corner at the video. Maybe the 10hz receiver is placed at the wrong place and the receiver get too much wrong electrical signals from e.g. the engine. I have the Hondata logging OBDII, it's wired in and mounted next to the GPS receiver. But I would think t...

WOW, great blast. :tu: :tu:

Your speedo is too slow. It can not follow your real driven speed. You need a faster GPS-Mouse. >:D ;D

Re: Water temperature

I’ve never had any issues with my 3.5R, however I’d did one Castle Combe day in my Nomad R, and had heating problems. Warning lights, couldn’t manage two consecutive flying laps. Real shame! Your temp issue with your Nomad R is a complete other problem that the Atom 4 have. Your Nomad R overhead be...

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 brakes

The brake master cylinders on the Atom 4 are Tiltons and incorporate their own bleed valves, which is handy, but the clutch master cylinder is an AP. Oh, sorry my mistake - I dont known that. And what series? I had thought brake from AP and MC from AP too. I had changed my MCs at my Atom3 from Tilt...

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 Cooling

At yesterday's Cadwell Park test day we didn't see coolant temps go above 96degC whereas in similar ambient conditions we've routinely seem temps well over 100degC. Essentially this was achieved by routing additional airflow directly to the radiator. Will now evaluate whether this lays the foundati...

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 Cooling

plip1953 If the factory have installed the engine, turbo, blow-off and sensors as Honda do - the rising AIRT after lifting the throttle is normally and no problem. Yorkshire has already confirmed that the temp rises, although he has supplied the cooler air exter...

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 brakes

plip1953 Sound good I am curious about your driving report. 4. An AP proportioning valve in the rear circuit. Also recently added. Do you have forgotten to order the bias adjuster? Please show the partNo. of the valve. And most crucially, we have eliminated any and all air in the ...

Re: The curious case of the Atom 4 Cooling

I am out in my Atom at Blyton Park on sunday so should know fairly quickly whether the "Race Ready" no antifreeze coolant i have in mine has made any difference. I was also going to try the deflector plate in front wing see if that alters anything and may even try no front wing again to s...
