Re: An expensive 1st visit to the factory
Join the waiting room :tu: What did you spec?
Spec is fairly simple. Tried to sort it such that if (when) I subsequently decide to go the 300 route, then I only have to add the supercharger cost to the bill. So, I went for: LSD Brakes: Sport Package Rear, Alcons f...

An expensive 1st visit to the factory

So, went down there today. Met Simon, Justin. Top guys. Test drove the demonstrator. Has just this week had a new steering rack and the updated suspension on it. Felt beautiful. So compliant, so easy to drive. Acceleration is just silly. So, left about two hours later, having put a deposit down on a...

Re: Best place(s) to go helmet shopping in London?

Bruce Thanks, good advice. May well go with what you say, since I don't intend to race but shall track it as much as I can (I live under an hour from Bedford). I also intend to use it on the road as much as I can and am not going for the bubble windscreen. I'll see how I get on Tuesday. So can't wai...

Re: Best place(s) to go helmet shopping in London?

Oh, another thing. The guy I'm going with can get 15% off everything he buys. So, I'm choosing, he's paying!

Guess I might have to pay him back.....but.....

If there's something dead expensive you're after, let me know. I'm very happy to get it on your behalf.

Work on the basis that you're bound to drop a certain amount, come what may (always more than you bargain for).

Anything less is a bonus.....

Genius stuff. Der.

I'm after just the lid. But I've been warned it's very very tough to keep the plastic in your pocket for too long....

WANTED: Chat with an Atom owner in Hertfordshire, UK

Hi, newbie to the forum. Would really appreciate a chat/ ride with an Atom owner in the Hertfordshire area?

I live in Harpenden, specifically, near St Albans, but of course I'll travel to see one.  ;D

Many thanks
