Re: Winter Project
The coating keeps the heat inside the exhaust which, IIRC, is generally good for two reasons (1) lower engine bay temps so inlet cooler etc (not really a benefit for us) and (2) hotter gases move faster / more freely than cooler - this improves scavenging which improves performance. Thank you! I ha...

Re: Winter Project
That exhaust looks great! In fact the whole car does, it is impeccably clean. You are making me feel guilty about mine.
How does coating the exhaust make exhaust gasses cooler?

Re: Ariel Nomad Questions and answers
I've been running different colour panels on mine for the last 12 months and no issue. I think a colour change will show on a HPI check so would be a shame to formally change the colour. My daily car is fully wrapped a different colour. I have been driving it for over two years with no issues at all.

Re: Just sharing the result of my project
Nicely done sir! I have got a spare AEM meth kit. Maybe I should fit it to mine. I have never considered adding to the power on my atom, it is quite quick out of the box. How are you finding it is handling the power? Is it not becoming too much of a handful and actually slower in the real world if t...

Re: Rear view / reversing camera monitor system
Can’t say I’ve ever felt the need. As Creighton says I just in-do the harness and look over my shoulder or use the mirrors.

Re: Who has worn out their brake discs ?
Yeah all mine were replaced last year when my car was in for a service as they were a bit warped. I do find on the roads I hardly touch the brakes as the car is so light. As soon as you come off the throttle the engine brake slows you down quite a bit. Even when driving hard I suspect I am only usin...

Glad you had a good time mate. If it wasn't for the fact I'm in sunny Majorca then I would have been there!

Re: Atom 3 SPA Dash
Well Smokin it is there in black and white lol. You'd think a British made car would cater for the climate but hey it's a minor grumble for an otherwise fantastically made thing. John I was thinking the same this evening. I do not want it loose the ability to breathe. I think I'll just stick with th...
